1993 - 2023
W&M World & Management, spol.s r.o. was founded in January 1993 as a German - Slovak private institute for the development of personnel and business. The foundation was supported by a program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany to support the transformation of the economy after 1989 in Slovakia Since 1995 the company has been completely Slovak. In 2009, W & M World & Management was transformed by decision of the General Meeting to W&M MANAGEMENT, s.r.o. and there are currently defined service delivery areas.

The product development and product innovation:
The products developed are also produced in the own manufactory. Here by the CAD, CAM and CNC technology is used. The latest product ist a portable digital telephone training tool. The research offer is focused on several areas:
- Computational fluid dynamics - OpenSource costs effective software packages are applied for flow and heat transfer analysis. Different tasks mainly for small and medium enterprises concerning external and internal arodynamics were carried out. The system consists of creating a surface model of the problem, grid generation (preprocessing), flow analysis and postprocessing. Each project is closed with extensive report.
- Design, calculations and measurements in the field of thermomechanics, aerodynamics is based on high level of knowledge of thermodynamics, flow mechanics, measuring technology. This area includes the analysis of efficiency of thermal systems like power plants, district heating and cooling, computing centers. Our customers in the recentt past were investment developers.
- Thermal Turbomachinery diagnostics - following gas turbines were tested in recent past for the slovak natural gas industry companies: CENTAUR 40 – 4700 CS/MD 59, TAURUS 60 – 7000 CS/MD MATCH GAS Solo NOX, GE Nuovo Pignone 23MW, I.BS GT 750-6MW, Cooper Rolls R 27MW, Cooper Rolls R 27MW and others different natural gas compressors. The basis is a measurement project and field measurement and evaluation of results.
Important area of the offer is the education segment. There are three main points to be highlighted:
- Production and publication of high quality color technical literature in different printer ready formats. The conversion of the publications into an HTML format with navigation suitable for presentation of the publication in the internet is very popular. That's the job of the house's own publisher Technikum publishing.
- Lectureship at Universities. The actual partner in aviation sector is the FH Joanneum Graz/Austria FH Joanneum Graz.
- Vocational training is focused on expanding technical competence and skills at secondary or university level in the field of thermal energy, combustion turbines, compressors, aircraft engines, thermodynamics, mathematics, physics, mechanics, computer modeling of flow, technical programming, technical modeling. Programs are customized, grouped for closed groups, open groups by applications. Also, one product is individual tutoring.
